Teofana Zaric, fine artist, iconographer, and art educator, weaves her artistic narrative between Serbia and the USA, creating a bridge between two worlds through her profound works. Teofana's journey in the realm of art began with a solid foundation in education. In 1996, she earned her Master of Arts degree from the University of Arts in Belgrade, specializing in Studio Art, Art History, and Theatre Costume Design at the College of Applied Arts & Design. Further enriching her skills, Teofana completed intensive Studio Training in Byzantine Iconography at the Mladenovic Iconology School in Belgrade and Prosopon School of iconology in the New York City, delving into the ancient and revered tradition of icon painting.
Teofana's artistic prowess is showcased in a diverse array of exhibitions, both group shows and solo displays, held across America and Europe. Her work has resonated with many audiences, earning her international recognition in the form of numerous prestigious awards for her paintings and drawings. These accolades are a testament to the depth of her talent and the universal appeal of her art. Her artistic odyssey finds expression in private collections across the globe, including cities like New York City, Boston, San Francisco (USA), Cairo (Egypt), Belgrade (Serbia), as well as in Portugal, Spain, Greece, and numerous other locations.
